From affordable housing and home repairs to education and pathways to homeownership, our initiatives provide families and individuals with the resources, guidance, and stability they need to thrive. By addressing both immediate housing needs and long-term community development, we help people put down roots, build stronger futures, and create lasting impact across central Nebraska—because everyone deserves a place to grow.

NextPoint Home Development supports the creation and management of affordable housing for low-income individuals and families. Our efforts provide safe, stable homes while helping communities grow and thrive.

Our education programs empower both renters and future homeowners with the knowledge and skills needed for long-term housing success. Through Tenant Education, participants learn how to maintain their homes, understand their rights and responsibilities, and strengthen financial stability. Our Home Buyer Education program prepares families for homeownership by covering budgeting, financing, and the responsibilities of owning and maintaining a home.

The Owner Occupied Repair (OOR) Program provides financial assistance to low- to moderate-income homeowners for essential home repairs that address health, safety, and accessibility concerns. Cosmetic improvements or general remodeling projects are not eligible.
About our non-profit

🌿 We purchase, rehabilitate, and resell affordable homes, making safe, quality housing accessible to qualified applicants.
🌿 We provide affordable rental apartments to qualified applicants, supporting stable and secure housing options.
We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization serving residents in Adams, Buffalo, Clay, Hall, Hamilton, Howard, Kearney, Merrick, Nuckolls, and Webster Counties. The organization is funded through grants that are submitted to a variety of sources, but primarily the Nebraska Department of Economic Development.
